FY23-26 Strategic Plan
In 2022, VLS engaged with FastForward Libraries, LLC to facilitate a planning process that would result in an adopted 3-year Strategic Plan for the System. A six month planning process officially kicked-off in March of 2022 and the following Plan was approved by the VLS Governing Board in August.
2023 Activity Plan priorities include:

Implementation of technology tools for improved organization, communication and efficiency

Increased marketing of bookmobile services

Coordination of professional training opportunities for member library staff

Completion of an organizational analysis and classification and compensation study.
